As we all know Google took a big leap forward when it integrated google chat right into google email. Then came the abilities to have a video chat and a voice conference call right from within your google mail.
While this was an impressive integration by all account it had the same limitation that all the other voice chat softwares have – the inability to call actual phones.
However now you can call actual phones right from within your googlemail chat window! Even more amazingly all calls to US phones are FREE at least for the remainder of this year. As for the other countries Google has released their very low rate card.

Dialling a phone works just like normal phone. Just call “Call phone” at the top of your chat list and dial a number or enter a contact’s name
