Can not start Toshiba Satellite Laptop

There is a known problem with Toshiba Satellite Laptops. Often these toshiba laptops do not start on pressing the start (or power button). No lights will flash on the laptop front and basically nothing would happen. In this case often the laptop can be brought back to life by following these simple steps.

• Unplug the laptop from the main source
• Take out the battery from the laptop by turning it over and releasing the battery latch.
• Turn the toshiba laptop over again and press and hold the start button (or the power button) for about 15 seconds.
• Plug in the main power supply (not the battery yet) and try to start the laptop again.
• If the laptop starts then brilliant! Please let the laptop boot into Windows as it would normally. Once it has booted into Windows, shut it down as usual.
• You can now put the battery back in. Your Toshiba Laptop is now ready to be used again!

Toshiba Satellite Series 200 No Display fault

There is a known design fault in Toshiba Satellite Series 200 laptops. Due to the design of the laptop, an internal cable which shows the display on the laptop screen gets pressed and eventually gets damaged.
When this happens, the toshiba laptop screen only comes on when the screen is tilted at a particular angle on the laptop hinges. Toshiba Satellite Laptop Doesn't start - Windows Loading Error

In the recent weeks we have had a number of Toshiba Satellite Laptops for repairs where Windows Vista refuses to start. On starting the laptop the Windows Loading screen appears for a minute or two but then either a blue screen with white text appears or the laptop restarts itself and goes through the entire process again and again.
